A Case Left Angle Crosses

Here I am proposing that the Incarnation Crosses that apply to Individuals also apply to Global Cycles. In particular, I am saying that the Left Angle Crosses (LAX) and Jutaposition Crosses (JXT) are just as applicable. You could say that this follows the "as above, so below" thinking.

Ra Uru Hu, in his Global Cycles teaching, was rather adamant that there are only Right Angle Crosses (RAX). I suspect Ra's stance was born out of a need to simplyfy a subject that was already daunting, as well as to guard against questions that he could not reasonably answer. For example, computer models that can now easily calculate the Precession of the Equinoxes were harder to come by when Ra first began his Global Cycles teaching in 1995. Ra was using "rule-of thumb" calculations at the time, so to make further calculations would have been rather tedious. These calculations would also have potentially conflicted with historic dates he had already set as markers for Human Design evolution.

When I first proposed to the Human Design Facebook group to consider that there were, in fact, Left Angle Crosses as part of the Global Cycles, I got quite a few responses parroting Ra's insistence that there are no LAX or JXT Crosses. I went so far as to challenge those who posted those responses to give me practical, experiential, grounded reasons for that point of view. In any case, I found that I was on my own in making my case, as those with extensive Human Design training and knowlegeable about Global Cycles were unwilling to risk contradicting Ra's teaching. (Fair enough - otherwise I wouldn't be needing to make my point more clear!)

In any case, I propose that Ra's "2027 Prophecy" that the Global Cycle background frequency will change from the RAX of Planning to the RAX of the Sleeping Phoenix is inaccurate. Instead, I propose that we are collectively moving into the LAX of Spirit. (Gate 55 is the lead gate for both the RAX of the Sleeping Phoenix and the LAX of Spirit.)

To support my point that we are entering the LAX of Spirit, I looked up some history related to the most recent Global Cycle, particularly for the LAX of Migration. (Gate 37 is the lead gate for both the LAX of Migration and the RAX of Planning.)

The Evidence from the Previous Global Cycle

I easily found evidence that the Incarnation Cross, the LAX of Migration was a collective theme starting just prior to 1624 on the below timeline. Global transportation became available to the masses, so migration met with increasing success for the following century and a half.

For example, the Americas was a favored refuge for migrants seeking freedom from existing institutional structures. These migrant patterns were taking place in countries across the world, from countries with rigid institutional structures, to countries with little to no structure. In what was to become the United States of America, these migrants eventually fought for and won their right to independence from Britain. Thus, The Declaration of Independence in 1776 gives us an example of the assertion of self governance as a Right Angle Cross of Planning collective theme.

We also know that migration has not stopped after the LAX of Migration timeframe, and continued under RAX of Planning, so we can conclude that all Incarnation Crosses with Gate 37/40 are supported during the 400+ years of the current Global Cycle reffered to, by Ra, as the RAX of Planning. Thus, I can say Ra did not quite lie, yet I see he did not give us a complete picture either. For example, the mass migrations happening now are likely the last gasps of the Cross of Planning, and are likely to see a significant decline by 2027.

Figure 1 shows the timeline for the Precession of the Equinoxes and the resonant Incarnation Crosses related to the opposing gates 37 & 40, using the Ayanasha model (44-Lahiri VP285 (1980)) most near to Ra's 2027 prophecy date.

Detailed Evidence from the Previous Global Cycle

The Left Angle Cross of Migration

• 1620 – The Mayflower set sail from the port of Plymouth and began the journey with around one hundred passengers, mainly Puritans seeking a new life away from persecution across the Atlantic.
• 1624 – Settlements successfully established at St. Kitts.
• 1627 – Settlements established in Barbados.
• 1628 – Settlements established on Nevis.
• 1633 – English trading post established in Bengal.
• 1639 – The English settle at Madras
• 1655 – The island of Jamaica was taken from the Spanish and annexed.
• 1664 – The English gained control of the Dutch colony of New Netherland, renaming the settlement New York.
• 1666 – The Bahamas were successfully colonised.

The Juxtaposition Cross of Bargains

• 1763 – Rising tensions between the European powers vying for monopoly in certain areas, settlements and trading ports result in the Treaty of Paris which redistributed imperial lands. The areas of Lower Canada, land up to the Mississippi, Florida, India and Senegal were ceded to Britain. The British returned Cuba and Manila to the Spanish as part of the treaty.

The Right Angle Cross of Planning

• 1775 – The American war of Independence breaks out and lasts until 1783.
• 1783 – Conclusion of the international conflict of the American War of Independence, impacted by French involvement, with the Treaty of Versailles. Britain is forced to recognise the independence of 13 colonies. Florida ceded back to the Spanish; Senegal ceded back to France. As part of the agreement however Britain retained imperial control in the West Indies and Canada.
• 1787 – The British politician William Wilberforce, a member of the Clapham Sect, began his campaign to end slavery in British colonies. This led to a free colony being established in Sierra Leone.

At the begining of 2025 I created my own Ayanamsha model to calculate the Precession of the Equinoxes based on the principles of Human Design, pulling forward Ra's "2027 Prophecy" by about 4.3 years. This new model happens to fit the timeline above even better than before.
